Racial Equity Statement From CHI
Dear Friends,
The Center for Health Innovation, New Mexico’s Public Health Institute, acknowledges systemic racism as a public health crisis. We understand the protestors calling for police reform and demanding an end to the brutality and racial inequities which have plagued our nation since before its founding. Working towards health and racial equity in New Mexico has taught us that the system must serve and be accountable to the community. The Center for Health Innovation offers our strength and resources to the cause of ending racism and the inequities it spawns. Below you will find resources compiled by the NM Public Health Association on racism’s detrimental impact on health, police violence, and so much more. Join us in working to ensure the safety and justice for all.
No Justice, No Peace.
