Helping nonprofits, governments and communities make change and see progress one service at a time

We offer discrete, project based services to help nonprofits, small governments and communities navigate public health funding and research, improve administrative functions, develop leadership capabilities, manage stakeholder engagement and succession planning, and create community-driven behavioral health response initiatives, such as Crisis Response programs.

Health Policy Development and Implementation

We work with communities to address systemic behavioral health issues and develop policy that can change the local behavioral health landscape. We also provide support in convening, partnering, and grant orchestration.

  • Statewide and regional convening, and partnering and consensus building services.
  • Partnership orchestration for large-scale and/or multi-year grants.
  • Partnering to connect communities with medicaid and insurance-based payment experts.
  • Broad spectrum health policy development support.

Community-Driven Crisis Response Consulting

Community Response Teams are evidence-based community programs proven to improve health, law enforcement and justice system outcomes for communities and people who need behavioral or mental  health, substance misuse or post-traumatic stress interventions.

  • Behavioral health issues and incidents are managed by informed peers and mental health professionals.
  • System is aligned with 911 and 988.
  • Social and mental health services are engaged rather than law enforcement and county jail systems.
  • All NM counties have access to funding for such programs.

Research and Evaluation Services

Access our existing library of research and publications for your project,  or work with us to develop new, custom research in behavioral or public health.  Some of our offerings include:

  • Our Outcomes Evaluation Service covering predominantly federal programs and their outcomes.
  • A broad selection of Social Determinants of Health Research from governments and NGOs.
  • Our own Workforce Pathways Research assessing paraprofessional trainings, certifications, options and utility.
  • Our Southwestern New Mexico Behavioral Health Mapping.

New Mexico Community Data Collaborative

The NMCDC provides community members, public health workers, non-profits, and other institutions with access to national and New Mexico-wide, de-aggregated data for the purpose of community assessments, community engagement, supporting funding efforts, and to advocate for policy change.
